the_moss_stomperNo regrets. This is what Elena tells herself as she gets ready for her first day at the Department of Administrative Research. Is this where she expected to end up? Is this why she poured hours of sweat and tears into her training? Not at all, but the offer was too tempting. She has heard the whispers, of course, but if her sister could do it, then so can she. No regrets.
Many years and countless bodies later, it has become a way of life. Regrets have no place in this line of work. They only get in her way.
